Can you guys make custom socks with no minimum quantity?
Before answering this question, we need to make the difference between real custom socks and other types of personalized socks.Real customized socks are socks that are specifically made from scratch for customers, based on their design requirements. These models – ankle, crew, knee-high or other – are made by manufacturers offering full customization with designs woven into the sock.
On the other hand, other – sometimes less scrupulous – manufacturers wrongfully pretend to make custom socks which are actually not fully customizable. They usually only offer a small selection of models they already have in stock and will just add or print you design on them.
Now getting back to your question, it all depends on what you want:
- If you want real, quality, knitted products, there will be a minimum quantity to cover the production costs as making fully personalized socks requires a lot of work, whether it’s setting up the machine with the appropriate yarn or overseeing the production, which takes time.
- However, if you just want some cheap products, simply printing or adding your logo won’t take much time or work and, in that case, there’s no need for minimum quantity with your order … but you will get what you paid for.
